To initiate a refund request from Google Ads due to suspected invalid or fraudulent clicks, you must submit a Click Quality Investigation Request through Google’s official form, which can be accessed on the link below:
https://support.google.com/google-ads/contact/click_quality
As part of the submission process, Google requires detailed evidence of suspicious activity, specifically a click log documenting the potentially fraudulent clicks. You can easily retrieve this information from your ClickGuard dashboard by navigating to the Click Forensics section, selecting the specific time period. After that, you can use the Filters to list only Bad clicks for that specific time period and then download the CSV file via Export button.
The exported CSV file can be downloaded from the Scheduled Reports —> Downloads tab.
Please Note:
Google only permits one manual click quality investigation request per advertiser account every 60 days. Therefore, it is essential to compile and submit all relevant evidence and supporting data within a single, comprehensive request to maximize the chances of a favorable outcome.
