What is Device ID in ClickGUARD?
ClickGUARD tracks unique devices across multiple ad clicks and browser visits. Every individual device is assigned a unique device ID that is stored in the visitor's browser for tracking purposes.
Tracking devices makes it possible to show detailed analytics for each device within Click Reports > Devices, as well as linking multiple paid or organic clicks to unique devices.
The device ID is an anonimyzed hash that does not reveal any personal information and cannot in any way be linked to a user's behavior outside of ClickGUARD:
