How fast does ClickGUARD block in Google Ads?
In most cases blocking is instant, meaning ClickGUARD will make the exclusion in Google Ads immediately upon the blocking action being triggered. However, especially when ad clicks and blocking actions are frequent, Google API presents technical limitations that could delay the exclusion.
Blocking speed can depend on several factors:
Google API availability and stress (frequency of changes being made) - waiting for the API to accept the block can create a delay
If campaign that is being updated is at its blocking limit - in this case the block will be pending until ClickGUARD is able to clean up and release some blocking room
Overall account stress (frequency of changes account-wide), for example when blocking for a large number of campaigns simultaneously
