Besides logging ad clicks via the Google Ads tracking template ClickGUARD also uses a JavaScript code snippet installed on the website advertised with Google Ads to obtain important information about the visitor.

The website tracking code is sometimes referred to as the tracking pixel.

What information is collected?

By running the tracking code on your website ClickGUARD is able to fingerprint the unique device used to make a click and track it across multiple click occurrences. Organic clicks are tracked as well as they enable additional actionable information about the visitor such as time spent on the site and conversion information.
